4.Use of cookies
(1) Our website uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files used to store information about your use of the website. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your end device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain functions of our website would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or to display advertising. Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions that you have requested (functional cookies) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in strategic analysis and the assessment of market trends as well as in connection with production and repeat orders. In particular, we use this information to compile anonymous, aggregated statistics that provide us with information about how the website is used and how we can improve the structure of the website. However, we cannot identify you personally in this way.
(2) In some cases, however, cookies from third-party companies (third-party cookies) or technically unnecessary cookies may also be stored on your end device. These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for processing payment services) but also functions that are not absolutely necessary. The cookies in question are stored exclusively on the basis of consent (Section 25 (1) TDDDG with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR); consent can be revoked at any time.
(3) At present, we only use technically necessary data on our website as described under 4 (1), for which no consent is required.
(4) You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted. If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you about this separately in this privacy policy and, if necessary, request your consent.
(5) Cookies are stored on the user's computer and the information stored in them is transmitted to our servers. You as the user have full control over the use of cookies. You can completely deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in the Internet browser you are using. Cookies that have already been saved can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all the functions of the website to their full extent.
(6) Irrespective of this, you can find more information about cookies at www.allaboutcookies.org. The website www.allaboutcookies.org can provide you with detailed instructions on how to set and delete cookies, depending on your browser type. At the bottom of this page, where we can name them, we have provided links to cookie settings in various browsers.
5.Conversion Tracking
We use Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising material (so-called Google Ads). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the advertising campaign data. In this way, we pursue the interest of showing you advertising that is of interest to you.
These advertisements are delivered by Google via so-called "ad servers". For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, through which certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of ads or clicks by users, can be measured. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies generally lose their validity after 30 days. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency) and last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.
These cookies enable Google LLC to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of a Google Ads customer's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Google Ads customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Ads customers. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can recognize which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information. Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge: Through the integration of Ads Conversion, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out your IP address and store it.
You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) You do not give us your consent to the use of Google Ads; b) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the "About Ads" self-regulation campaign via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies;
c) by permanent deactivation in your browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html.
